Bound rate, simple mean, all products (%) — every country, all years (World Bank)

Simple mean bound rate is the unweighted average of all the lines in the tariff schedule in which bound rates have been set. Bound rates result from trade negotiations incorporated into a country's schedule of concessions and are thus enforceable. Every country, region and year the World Bank publishes for indicator TM.TAX.MRCH.BR.ZS (World Development Indicators), delivered as a tidy table — country, ISO code, year and value — ready for analysis in Excel, R, Python or the Intigal AI workspace. Original compiler: Staff estimates, World Bank (WB); World Integrated Trade Solution system (WITS), World Bank (WB); World Trade Organization (WTO).
